Trevor Lane
Trevor C Lane, Ed.D. is a social scientist, CITI certified researcher, and published associate professor. He is an award-winning statewide specialist in Community & Economic Development for Washington State University (WSU) Extension in the College of Agriculture, Human, & Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS). Dr. Lane’s leadership links citizen-science with action research leveraging the best available science to solve critical problems in tribal and rural communities. He is a subject matter expert in agritourism, technology transfer, and small business ecosystems as evidenced in his scholarship and programs with broadband action teams or digital literacy programs supporting tribal and rural communities. Dr. Lane is working internationally and nationally on farm to table initiatives to improve food security and poverty through small business ecosystems.
