Teaching

Dr. Levien teaches in the drug information/literature evaluation course, and on the topics of glaucoma and allergic rhinitis in the therapeutics course. She also provides lectures on new drugs to pharmacy groups.

Additional Information

Levien’s practice site is the WSU College of Pharmacy Drug Information Center. She staffs the center and precepts pharmacy students and residents completing rotations at the site. The Drug Information Center responds to more than 2,000 requests annually from pharmacists, physicians and other health care professionals, and is the primary support unit for The Formulary Monograph Service, Inc., a division of Facts & Comparisons.

In addition to writing monographs on new drugs for The Formulary Monograph Service, Levien also writes a regular feature with continuing education on new drugs for Hospital Pharmacy.
