About Me

I was born, grew up, and pursued my education in Bangkok, Thailand. This is my first time stepping out of my safe zone to interact with people from different cultures, and also will be my first time to see the snow.

My passion for cardiovascular research started when I was a physical therapist who performed treatment in cardiac rehabilitation. I realized that many people die from these diseases which some of them could not access treatment for due to hospital costs. I also aim to develop, improve, and find a practical therapeutic pathway in cardiovascular research.

In my spare time I like to…

In my spare time, I enjoy sleeping, cooking and eating, reading, and watching movies. I’m a big fan of Harry Potter, Disney’s princesses, and the Crime Scene Investigation series.

Why WSU?

I decided to work at WSU based on research opportunities. The projects being conducted in Dr. Cheng’s laboratory, especially “the role of PKA signaling in cardiomyocyte necrosis,” are interesting for my future research area. I believe that researching at Dr. Cheng’s Lab, WSU will allow me to improve my creativity. I will have a broader perspective on cardiovascular research and also will be exposed to a thought-stimulating atmosphere.
