About Me

I was born and raised in Albany, New York. I always knew I wanted to go into health care, however always thought I would be a pediatrician or podiatrist. My ninth-grade biology teacher recommended a medical conference with many different specialties. I ended up attending and falling in love with pharmacy. Throughout pharmacy school I realized my passion was within a clinical setting such as a clinic or hospital and not in a retail pharmacist. I ended up pursing a residency and continued to have a broad focus throughout. I learned I loved teaching and ended up applying for a job with teaching and clinical practice in the hospital setting. My main interest is cardiology. However, I also love diabetes, interprofessional education, and antimicrobial stewardship.

I enjoy figure skating, cooking, hiking, and traveling.
