Research Interests

My area of prevention research focuses broadly on the well-being of young children within the family and early learning and care contexts. I conduct translational studies that involve: promoting healthy weight trajectories in order to reduce childhood obesity and minimizing of the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through trauma-informed practices in non-clinical settings.
