About Me

I grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia and attended college in Bozeman, Montana. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I was hired with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, as well as the Political Science Department at Montana State University (MSU). I transitioned into the College of Nursing as an academic advisor for the CO-OP program. I loved working with Native American students in the medical field, so I decided to pursue my career with land-grant institutions. When deciding to move to Spokane, WSU was my dream job. I happily joined our college in November 2018.

In my spare time I like to…

I love new experiences and I’m always excited to try new things. I love to get outdoors and explore nature, so I hike and camp as often as I can. Music, art, martial arts, you name it, I’ve tried it.

Why WSU?

After working for MSU, I fell in love with the land-grant university mission. Education has been a big part of my life, and I support any opportunities we can give that will allow people that privilege. I also greatly identified with and appreciated WSU’s strong drive for innovation and outreach.
