Steven Fransen

Steve Fransen’s interests include irrigated and high rainfall pasture production, quality and development. He works with cool-season grasses such as orchardgrass and timothy for hay and warm-season grasses such as switchgrass and Eastern gamagrass for forage and biofuels. Recently his interests have expanded into winter canola as forage and grain intended for both human food and biodiesel.
