Brenda Madrid Martinez

Brenda is a former student in Dr. Lisa DeVetter’s Small Fruit Horticulture Program. Brenda completed her undergraduate degree in Organic and Sustainable Agriculture Systems at WSU Everett in 2020 and her MS degree in Dec. 2021. After graduating she joined Driscoll’s as part of the production/agronomy team. Brenda worked on multiple projects focused on blueberry and strawberry greenhouse production. Brenda will be working in Dr. DeVetter’s lab for a few months and her research will focus on assessing blackberry and blueberry cold hardiness in the PNW.
