Anne Mason is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Clinical Associate Professor. Additionally, she is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan).

Dr. Mason obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from University of Colorado-Denver where her quality improvement project focused on improving depression assessment and documentation of suicide risk in young adults accessing services in the college counseling center. As a psychiatric ARNP since 2005, Dr. Mason has practiced in various settings including corrections, college student health, private practice, and most recently with adolescents in partial hospitalization for eating disorders. Dr. Mason has taught at all levels of nursing education and is experienced in nursing education regulation and accreditation. Her scholarly interests are focused on nursing education, in particular with nurse practitioner students, telehealth, and mental health. Her funded research participation includes HRSA projects to improve interprofessional education in graduate nursing and ANEW grants.  Additionally, she led the didactic education team in developing the National Telehealth Toolkit for Nurse Educators.
